Imo sigs are ok but not worth the price point outside of the x-5 guns. That and I've seen more sigs/HK/glock sold for sp01s within the last 2 years then ever.....

So I am getting ready to make my next handgun purchase. I am already set with a ccw and home defense pistol. For my next purchase I am looking for a gun that I can throw in my truck when fourwheeling and know that it will survive the abuse and be ready for me to grab when I need it. My requirements are indestructible, 9mm double stack, and preferably metal frame. With around 1k to spend I have my choices narrowed down to a Sig or HK but from what I ve read they are similar when it comes to what I want. Thoughts?

Please don't buy a California version of a Sig!

Non-German Sigs are pretty bad, especially after Cohen came on board. HK's quality is still top-notch, not only that they are still made in Germany where quality actually meant something.
