Springfield "P" models make any difference to the roster?

The roster lists their Springfield models without a P at the end (e.g. PX9151L). However, what's available for sale are the package models (e.g. PX9151LP). Does the P at the end of the SKU have any affect for roster purposes?

There was a thread about this a few months ago and if I recall the "P" had no effect on the roster models.. think the P was for package or something along those guidelines

Correct. The P indicates package which includes a holster, mag holder, etc. It does not affect roster status.

I bought a Springfield Armory MC Operator (not the new version) off GunBroker and had no problem getting it shipped to a CA FFL.

It had the "P" designation.

I purchased a "p" model from a brick-and-mortar gun shop in CA.

I had no problems buying a "P" TRP at a LGS, but Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore would not let me buy a SA Milspec "P" because it was offroster according to them because of that last P. I was planning on getting the milspec to upgrade slowly, but said screw them and got the TRP which had all the bells and whistles I wanted anyways.
