I only did 2 upgrades to my 92fs. Houge grips and the "D" spring.
Other than that it was mags, ammo, range time, and classes.Ray

Years later, I quit modifying the stock hammer spring.
The only thing I do anymore is replace trigger with a real steel one. BUSA and a smith on the Beretta Forum (dot net) sells them.
And that is not required, just a pet peeve I have.

I've read mixed reviews about the Wolff trigger spring. Some people say it gives a gritty feeling to the trigger, others dont. It almost sounds like there may be some bad batches out there. Over on the Beretta forum, my impression is that most just stick to the original trigger apring.I'm a big old, bourbon-soaked cigar-huffing ***, as God in his infinite wisdom meant me to be. - Charlie Sheen.Comment

Thanks so much for your info I was considering doing some Wolf reduced power Springs but I'm scared of light strikesComment

Luckily mine came with all metal parts and rubber grips when I bought it new 15 years ago. I don't know how I didn't know about the D spring... I'm going to have to order that today and feel the difference.Comment
