CA Approved CZ-97's inbound!

Just got off the phone with CZ and confirmed we have a quantity of the CA approved CZ-97's on the way.

Just sort of excited about it since I thought we would never see them again.

Not selling here, just letting people know they are coming available. CZ only made 50 of them and we did not take them all so other dealers should have them too.

It's in CZ's best interest to supply CA's huge gun market. I predicted they would produce them again. So just wondering if they'll come with the updated barrel or if you have to send it in to do the update.

They would have what ever they got approved with. If the aluminum ones are new these probably won't have them.

I used to be signed up for in stock notifications on this gun at riflegear. Looks like they may have given up on them since they are no longer on their website.

Well - hmmph! I didn't know they ever stopped making them!

I thought it had always been on the Roster since the beginning and that they never stopped making it. I realize they have gotten into the Dan Wesson 1911s but the CZ-97 was really their only regular .45ACP gun for the longest time, which is why I thought it was never an issue, always made.

I bought mine in 2002 and have never thought about it since that time as possibly being out of production. Seems like people have had them all along.

They recently changed and upgraded a few things on the 97s, barrel, grips, sights so it would no longer qualify for the roster after the changes. That's why everybody is excited that at least we will still be able to get limited quantities here.

Thanks - I guess I'll have to take a second look at them. I've always thought that it was a very under-appreciated gun, especially as options for .45ACP go.
