Sight pusher are a must, as a punch will more than likely mar your sights out or in.
    James does some good work
IF YOU BUY ANY BULK AMMO FROM LAX AMMO, YOU BETTER COUNT THE ROUNDS. I WAS SHORTED BY THEM.

I have the XD sight pusher, and it has done zero good on the factory sights of three of my four XDs. Works great once I get the factory sights off, though!
Ya the XD sights aren't easy to move.

If someone is planning to DIY I suggest the Fisher sight tool. It's about $65. I used mine on 6 guns now so I figure it's payed for itself. It's a tough hardened steel tool and can handle XD sights no problem. You just need to clamp it in a vise so you can put the necessary torque on it.

James only needs the slide. If you send it on Monday, you will be shooting again on Friday.

You might look at the version 2 of the TFO sights. They are shorter which will give a longer sight radius than the version 1. You'll see them listed on Jame's site, contact him to see if the much larger price difference is worth the consideration. The front sight seems to be more enclosed which might provide better protection of the tube and it appears they have a larger white collar surrounding the tube as it faces the shooter which may help in those instances where the light is low enough that the light pipe isn't being helped by ambient light and it's not dark enough for the tritium to light up the pipe.
