    Cheap yet efficient pistol rack

VARIERA pot lid organizer, stainless steel Space is often wasted by scattered pot lids in drawers or on shelves – and that one lid you are looking for can’t be found. This pot lid organizer keeps them all in place and easy for you to find. Keeps pot lids organized and easy for you to find.

I've been searching for a quality pistol rack to store my pistols on a safe's shelf. After wading through seemingly endless options online I found one that suits my needs perfectly, the Ikea Variera pot lid organizer! They're six dollars, stainless steel, and will flex like scissors to accommodate anything from a thin .22 pistol grip to a desert eagle or s&w 500. They have small rubber feet so they wont shift or slide from the weight of the pistols leaning against the pillars.

NOTE: If you don't store your pistols in gun socks this may not be the best option as I can see the stainless steel scratching your pistols.

To avoid scratches, get some of the rubberized liquid dip at the hardware store. (I think it also comes in a spray can.)

Coat it and don't worry about scratches.
    Sorry, not sorry.

Dear autocorrect, I'm really getting tired of your shirt!

Sturdy Safe makes a quality pistol rack. They are around $30 for an 8 pistol rack.

I have a couple of pistol racks that are made entirely from that dense grey foam. They will suck all the oil off your pistols at the contact points. I have relegated them to short term use at the range or on the workbench. Not good for long term storage.

Plasti Dip is what you're referring to. Aaand it's amazing! I know they sell it at Home Depot, not sure about Lowes. I get the 6 packs from Amazon.

Forget about stopping power. If you can't hit it, you can't stop it.

                  I love these.

I posted about these some time ago. They're GREAT stands ...heavy duty, heavy rubber coated. they're not cheap junk regardless where they're made They're a promotional item, not a regular stock item. when they're gone, they're gone and no one knows when or if they'll be back . I was in...

i've taken to storing individual handguns in old wood cigar boxes inside the gun safe. i store magazines that way too. original boxes for the guns are stored elsewhere.

I use these - 3 pack. On Amazon they claim to fit 22lr. This is NOT true. So, with a dremel I ground 1 down (slow up and down the shaft while rotating ) and rather than use rubber plasti dip I used heat shrink wrap.

You can also use electrical heat shrink wrap. It works great on the rack I built my self.

Paid someone $20 to make the same thing. Labor and materials were under $40.
