Hey guys, looking to get into the pellet gun world. I know Benjamin is a well regarded brand, and I've been looking at them, but came across this Hatsan, which I've not heard anything about - any feedback from those in the know?

I bought the AT44 and the BT65 (both PCP) for myself and the wife to go plinking without all the troubles of finding 22LR. If I could have a do over, I'd save myself the money and get Marauders.
The AT is pump action, which is pretty cool. However, it is very air hungry and shots are not only inconsistent, but it redlined quickly. We had issues with it "skipping" when you tried to load in another pellet and it would rotate too far and skip a pellet and load the next one in lineup. That was annoying.
The BT had a similar issue with skipping and was even worse at air hungry inconsistent shooting. My biggest complaint however is with its bolt action which is exceedingly stiff and cumbersome. Watching your 5' 3" wife wrestle with it is unamusing at first, outright annoying in the end.
Neither was as accurate as the Marauder and they both are sitting in the closet at home. We ended up getting a Marauder and couldn't be happier in terms of accuracy, longevity of the air tank, and how quiet it is. -
Thanks for the info - I think that persuaded me.Comment

I have a Sniper 125. Very well made gun.NRA Patron Member

Yes, you CAN fit a case of shotgun shells into a .50cal ammo can.
I think i found an optimal solution for ammo can labeling.
I made this target for the NRA's Marksman pistol test. I think it's a lot better than the paper plate they suggest.Comment

Benjamin is the more highly regarded brand. You really can't go wrong with the Marauder. However, Hatsan is also pretty well known and has a few pretty good ones.God, Guns, Guts, and Sea lions.Comment
