Arizona CWP Renewal & New Application Processing

Does anybody know if there's an online portal to check the status of the application? I applied for my non-resident through Dobbs Firearms Training here in NorCal while I was renewing my CA CCW permit. The instructor was telling the class that some were waiting over a year but through the comments on this thread I see that people were getting them in 2 weeks. This is why I wanted to check the status of my app.

How long ago did you submit?

If it?s longer than 8 weeks, wouldn?t be bad to call. No online portal.

I reached out to the licensing dept and so far haven't heard anything...

Currently have my CCW with AZ, recently moved out of state so I had to turn in my CA CCW... I asked them what is needed to update my CCW with my new address and so far, no response

Anyone here know the answer?

I don't know the answer... but here is the contact info for the people that do:

When I moved to AZ I think I had my new DL within maybe 2 weeks and emailed them a copy with a copy of my ccw.

If you already have an AZ CCW, you do NOT need to include "proof of training" at renewal time.

Re: my new address out of CA which is what I used to get my AZ CCW, spent 58 mins on hold yesterday, when I was connected with a very nice lady, she advised me to go online and submit a change of address request, that's it ��

Congrats!!! I wonder if I'll get mine soon. I sent on 5/17 and it was received a few days later. My MO was cashed in later May. I may check with them Monday or Tuesday to see if I'll get it soon. I have a trip from CA to MN planned in a few weeks, would be nice to be able to CC in every state except CA and MN (and if I go through CO obvoiusly).

Thanks! Mines was about 2.5 weeks after they received the application. Only thing that I was confused about is that I check the money order status daily and then it shows cashed on 06/05/23 but the issuing date on the permit is 06/03/23 which I thought was backwards. I didn?t even cal or email them either. Hopefully you get yours soon.

As for Utah non-res, I don?t know. I just see others applying for them too so I figured I can just try too. Unless they aren?t getting AZ and want Utah

Utah gives you Washington, arizona get new Mexico.

Nice!! Though I do wonder why I sent mine in before some of you guys (5/17) and haven't received my yet - I'm glad some of you are getting them. If I don't have it in my mailbox today I'll email then tonight and/or call them tomorrow. Maybe give them a little nudge

I mentioned I sent mine in on 5/17. I just talked to someone at AZ CCW and she was very nice and polite. She said they are finishing background check on me and if it goes through they'll send my permit out tomorrow morning. I'm guessing I'd have it end of week then.

But then she said to give it at least a 30 day grace period but that within 30 days I should have received something and if I haven't then I could call after 30 days.

I hope to get in the next 7 business days (don't think I will) as I have a cross country trip planned through a lot of states that honor AZ CCW.

If it keeps getting delayed I may go for UT.

got a renewal notice today in my mail, dropped in in the corner mail box after completing so now the wait but still have 60 days left on previous license
