Does Grant County, OR Sheriff's deputy still come to SoCal for CCW applications?

Klamath will except a CA CCW as meeting the training requirements. If I remember right they need a letter stating how often you come to Oregon, Purpose, business or pleasure and reason for needing a LTC.

It just seemed odd! I travel through Klamath multiple times every year going back home to visit family & friends, camp, hike, bike, hunt, & fish. I'll stop in on the next trip.
