Pretty much inline with everyone else's timeline.

          Application mailed 4/6/17
          Issued 5/30/17
          Received 6/5/17

FYI - To all of you wondering about past DUI's and such since Utah is pretty strict on that stuff, if it's in you past more than 5 years it's not a problem. I had a few stupid things I did when I was young. I was honest about it and checked the box "yes" and included an explanation to the best of my memory and they were fine with it.

              My Timeline

              Mailed 5-2-17

              Permit issued 6-20-17

Don't know if this helps or if it matters to anyone but even for Utah residents the wait time is right around 6 weeks to get your permit in the mail from the time you send it in.

That's actually cool that there is no delay between resident and non resident permits. lol so much better than how permits are issued in Cali and you actually get a real card not just a piece of paper folded over and laminated.

Really?... From what I read in the Sac CCW thread, all of cali was stuck with a laminated paper card until the CA DOJ approved the design.

Well, I guess what you read was wrong.

It's a solid card with a photo and a thumbprint.
