Thought I would offer my timeline. I'll update it as it progresses.

02/22/2017 - Mailed Utah CCW paperwork.
02/24/2017 - Utah CCW paperwork delivered.
03/02/2017 - Utah charges CC for application.

anxiously awaiting when you get yours... think i'm going to have to take the class for mine this saturday and then stick it in the mail.

Has anyone else gotten a UT permit recently?

I'm mailing mine off later today or tomorrow, I'll post a timeline as well... I took UT class Saturday so I need to get a pic taken somewhere today.

Arizona took 33 days.
Californian (San Berdoo) took 13.5 months.

Did they notify you when the permit was issued, or is that just the date on the permit?

Nope, no notification. Just the date on the permit.

All in the mail and it was easy, just like AZ. Mail in my money and the permit shows up 2 weeks later

By statute Utah must issue within 60 days of processing your application. The processing time starts when they charge your credit card or cash your check. That being said, many recent postings have suggested Utah is currently on a 5-6 week timeframe.

Sent mine in late January. CC has not been charged yet. Haven't received any correspondence.

I sent my AZ paperwork the same day... they sent it back because I forgot one thing, I re-sent it, and they processed it within 2 weeks.

UT appears to be a bit slower.

Okay, I was upset at seeing other people getting processed so fast, so I went back and looked closer. Turns out, I sent my paperwork in late January and my CC was charged on 2/2/17. Still nothing in hand, but if they're turning things around in a few weeks then I expect to have something shortly.
