I have a certificate somewhere from my 852PC class that I took when I was a Reserve Deputy. If I can find it maybe that will work, however I probably will take a hunter Safety Course just to be safe.

Hello all,
I want to submit an application for AZ CCW permit. Under their eligibility criteria it says that I need to take a firearm safety course. I am a certified NRA basic pistols instructor. Would that qualify for their requirement? Also my wife and I took pistol craft 110 from top gun training center many years ago and we do have certificate of completion from them, would that satisfy their requirement?

Just FYI for those submitting their application. I am a NRA Pistol and Personal Protection Instructor so I included my certificate with my CCW application. My packet was sent back last week because it my proof of training was insufficient. You have to submit your NRA instructor card with your instructor #. I guess I must have missed that info when I initially sent it in .

"Classes must be in-person by an NRA certified instructor. No online classes are accepted."
