What pray tell is the average wait for processing for Utah, if anyone knows.

I'm waiting for mine now, as I'll need in Washington in September.

    Thanks

I got my UT about a year ago, and it took more than a month from the time I mailed in the app before I finally received it. It was closer to a month and a half or two months. I can't tell you if they are still running a similar time line or not....I know that the processing time for AZ is now significantly longer than it was a year ago.

I know a guy that said that if you hold a non-resident permit from AZ you can not carry concealed on the Las Vegas Strip. you may carry any Nevada but the strip was some how except from being able to use your non-resident permit. I was under the impression that the strip was no different than the rest of Nevada and that the counties were not allowed to pass any ordnances contradicting the state laws. I have a CCW for CA., AZ., and UT and have carried on the strip before without any issue. if I have been misinformed and the strip really is off limits will someone please let me know so as to I do not get into in trouble. I just may go get my NV. permit to save the head ache.

I've never heard of that. But any local preemption such as no car carry in North las Vegas or Clark county blue card registration were nullified by SB 175 and SB 240 in June of 2015.

Would like to know this as well and whether permitted in the casinos/hotels?

                    NevadaCarry.org Home Page

                    Casino carry
It is legal to carry inside a casino, on the Las Vegas Strip, or at the Fremont Street Experience. Most casinos will ask you to leave or disarm if they observe you carrying firearms, but it is not a crime unless you refuse to leave or comply (only trespassing).

A little off topic but - anyone know what Arizona accepts for training? Is a California CCW enough? I've heard a hunter safety card is enough. I'm guessing documentation of a Cal class and Cal CCW would do it.

I used my CA. CCW training for AZ. permit. Yes a hunter safety card qualifies as well too though.

Copy of your California CCW is enough.

If you have any NRA class certs, it would not hurt to include them, but it's not absolutely required.
