It is legal to conceal carry it in non-prohibited areas of public places. [PC 20175(a)]

There are no CA laws prohibiting the importing, making, transfer, possession or use of impact projectiles.
But, the use of the impact projectiles against a human is considered assault with a deadly weapon. [PC 245(a)(1)]
