Barami Hip Grip + Tyler T are the bees knees

Too bad the quality is crap. I've had two pairs break after a few years. I would pay double if they were moulded with a quality plastic. -
Mine were the black plastic, I wonder if its more brittle. Always brok around the screw hole or the pins that keep them from rotating.Comment

FWIW, it looks like Barami has gone out of business: I can't find their website and both Amazon and Midway show the Hip Grip is no longer available. At least for J frame carry. The lack of a holster results in a very slim and comfortable profile. And when I drive I just slide the gun over to my weak side so I can still draw unimpeded by the seat belt. The exposed trigger might give most people pause but it’s easily a 10 pound DA pull for a stock J frame so it’s not a worry IMO. Ultimately it is up to the user to weigh the benefit versus the risk.

Looks like you can still get black Baramis in ebay for $20 shipped. I want to try a Desantis next though.FWIW, it looks like Barami has gone out of business: I can't find their website and both Amazon and Midway show the Hip Grip is no longer available.
