I dropped a few bucks on a Bullhide Belt, and it's great.

Bullhide Belts has a wide selection of leather belts made by hand in the USA. Made of full grain leather, it will last you for years to come.

^ Bought a Hank's CCW belt. It's awful. Limp as a cheap store bought belt. Gave up after wearing it once. Use an instructor belt now.

I just use a leather belt from Kohl's or something, it was probably like $10. IMO, there isn't really any difference between a "specialized" CCW belt and a regular leather belt, other than CCW belts cost 2-10x as much. Just make sure it's somewhat thick, and about 1.5" wide.

Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

I got to disagree on any thick belt will do.

A real CCW belt carries and draws much better.

They don't sag or give the way most casual belts do.

When you draw, the holster doesn't lift with the gun as a casual belt will.

I'd heard good things about them. I ordered a basic 1.5 ccw belt to be given as a gift to my dad, who will be using it just as a regular pants belt. I received it this week. Really nice quality. Fast delivery. Hard to beat for 40 bucks.

My wife makes fun of me for using Etsy but I use this belt for my rig. I have it in brown and am going to buy another in black.

I carry a Kimber Pro Carry II with a spare mag on it and it holds up well. It's made of two layers of leather. I've been using it since March of this year with no issues. I find that it's nice enough to wear to work in business casual .

I recommend looking at the Bullhide Belts. I found mine on eBay from them at a highly discounted rate for $10 but I love mine so much I'd definitely pay 50-60 when I need to replace it. Free shipping on their site too. Check them out and if you're not in a hurry maybe see if anyone is selling one in your size on eBay.

Just gave one of these as a gift. Very good quality and function....I doubt you'll find a better balance of quality and price. You can save $10 with Uncle Mikes or 5.11 but I think the X-Concealment is more than $10 better.
