I have not personally tired this holster, hopefully they will be at the SHOT Show, In interim having reviewed a number of holsters, it will depend on your needs.

Assuming that your pants legs aren't tight, the mass of the gun won't be uncomfortable. The leather should mask the shape of the weapon. Clearly they sell leather softener because it will need to be made/kept supple to remain comfortable. Leather is a great material but sweat can make it stiff.

    Requirements analysis.

Do you really need deep concealment, well the video shows a nice clean draw (although it mentions it getting caught inside the waist requiring a belt tilt) will you have two hands when you go to draw. Well we often teach lifting the shirt, and drawing the weapon from concealment, in many cases your in the fight when you decide you need to draw, and two hands are not only not available, but moving the weak hand away from the attacker could be fatal.

Of course deep conceal has a place, and if you need deep conceal then this is an elegant solution. It looks to provide a solution for those who may not be able to carry comfortably at the waist. A person with a little bit of a bulge might challenge performance.

As always remember your carrying for that moment when a firearm is the only way to survive, make sure you carry systems supports access to the weapon in the 4 second period when your survival and that of your loved ones hangs in the balance.

    The marketing is clearly slick.

Been eyeing that too. Am debating trying it out, but am concerned about the inability to draw while seated. Though honestly it's perfect for deep concealment, which is my general business preference since most of my clients would probably freak if they knew I was armed much less owned a gun.

Mentioned elsewhere, and I know it has nothing to do with function, but does it bother anyone besides me that the company logo looks like a old west coffin?

I went to the website to look at the logo......still all I see is womens hip hugger.....

One thing to consider. A friend has a sneaky Pete's holster. People noticed it and asked him what it was. He told them it was some wizbang tech device. They were genuinely interested and asked to see the wizbang device. He was stuck. Either he lies again or tells them no. I think the same problem would be encountered with this holster. It's going to look odd and attract the attention of some people who may ask, "what is that, can I see it"? Just a thought.

He should jus tell them its his insulin pump. He could also call it a TENS unit case for back pain, again they aren't likely to ask to see anything further. If they don't know him it won't matter, but few people would ask to see the pump or TENS unit.

Some of the people know him. They know he doesn't have diabetes and they don't know he carries. An excellent suggestion though.

I can't imaging trying to run with my weapon deep in my pants at the 1:00 position. Carrying shouldn't be akin to bowling :-)

The general impression I get from posters, is that it is not seen as a viable option by most.

Those who feel otherwise are unwilling to spend the money and report back.

Neither are particularly strong reasons to purchase.

My hope is the vendor or a distributor carrying the product will be at the SHOT Show in January. As we are a CCW vendor we take in the whole show, but make sure to visit and understand every CCW offering. Were not afraid to ask questions, challenge the product, and let the supplier correct us or offer usage suggestions.

As much as possible we try to experience every product as well. Several of the trainers we work with are also at the show. Their focus is broader than ours, but they help us with evaluations and we coordinate well in town.

Hopefully someone reports back with experience before that but if not well let you know what we see.

I ordered one out of curiousity. However, it's a 15-25 day wait. I'll report back after receiving and experimenting with it.
