There are a couple in Sacramento area that have a no concealed gun sign at the front door. Needless to say I have never gone their since. Wild Sports on Greenback is one of them. But then they have always been rude and sucked anyways.

Yes they do make a difference, if you got caught they can ask you to leave and if you stay it is considered trespassing "WHICH IS THE LAW" and not allow you to come back. I prefer not to even waste my time with any store that has that sign.

Most of the gun stores in my area have a big STOP sign with "Actions open" on it on the entrance. For this reason I usually don't carry in them just to avoid any issues.

The only carry related sign I've seen was at Sacramento Black Rifle in Rocklin. I believe it said something to the effect that they are fine with ccw on the premises but if you have to remove the firearm from your person for any reason while in the store, they want you to leave the shop, unload it, and bring it back in. It's been a while since I've been down there so don't quote me on this.

Well, yes, "..they can ask you to leave and if you stay it is considered trespassing.." but that's the law under any circumstances. Sign or no sign makes no difference. If you're in your cousin's house and they ask you to leave and you don't, you are trespassing. If you're in a store with a big CCW Welcome sign and they ask you to leave and you stay, you are trespassing.

Sign or no sign has nothing to do with whether you are trespassing. It's only trespassing if you are asked to leave and you do not.

STS in Folsom is fine with CCW,

I can see why some stores are not, I have seen people pull the ccw gun to test a new holster. Some should not carry.
