    CCW and doxing

I'm wondering if it would be beneficial to apply for CHL in your local city or with the county sheriff to help keep things private?

I'm actually concerned about people chatting / gossiping in my small town.

A former CHL had their shirt yanked up by an activist to see if they had a gun.

Any tips on staying off the radar?
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
    (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

    You’re in a small town?

Apply but I rather you wait to see what SD or PD say in response to Bruen. Haven’t seen AV go public about him issuing.

Don’t go to areas where there might be activists? Having a CHL/CCW is a responsibility to avoid places that may be of conflict.

In Kaliforniastan your CCW info is subject to public disclosure which is unlike most other states where the info remains confidential.

Tell the activist that Yanking up someone’s shirt without their consent is a crime. Battery and sexual assault.

          What's a CHL? Some secret code I didn't get?
If you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there

            Concealed Handgun License.

In Ca they are technically know as License to Carry (LTC).

Or concealed weapons permit (CWP) in Idaho or concealed pistol license (CPL) in Washington or concealed firearm permit (CFP) in Utah!

What specific info is "public record" and how do people access such a thing? Genuine question.

I used to live in Hermosa Beach (moved to OC 4 years ago) and would not count on the Hermosa PD issuing anything. In my experience, they refer everything out to LASD. In what I can see, Villanueva is pro CCW and is issuing them. I would jump on that before the election.
