Is a single stack 9mm worth it?

I just had my interview in San Bernardino county and I have some time to figure out my third weapon. Is it really worth it to have a single stack 9 mm on my list?

I have a Ruger LC9S pro, but I'm considering selling it. I already have a G26 for a compact weapon. Being warm here in California, how many actually have AND carry a single stack weapon. Like a Glock 43, Kahr Pm9, ruger LC9/S pro and the like.

Much better than lugging around a double stack.

Once you start carrying it you'll be surprised at how big that 26 actually is. Smaller and thinner is easier to conceal when it gets warm. Easier to conceal means less thought about it as you go about your daily routine.

The reason I'm thinking of selling the Ruger is that I just don't trust it. Maybe a different gun then. Like a Shield or a G43

I carry a p229, 90% of a time and feel nothing of the double stack. The more you wear it, the less you care. If I want a quick grab and go, it's a p238 with critical defense ammo. Done

Yep been carrying my G26 for almost two years now. Smallest pistol I have on my license. I will be adding a G42 once I renew in a few months and most likely will be my main carry.

Shield. You can get ten round mag extensions that work.

I sold my Ruger too. Didn't like the trigger. Whet with a Sheild and the Apex kit.0

A single stack 9mm is better than a 'Pointed Stick'!!!

Warm weather carry is more of a challenge.

After carrying a 1911, my G30 seemed down right slim.

After carrying a G30, my G26 felt even slimmer still.

After carrying a g26, my G42/43 just seems to almost disappear.

A G42/G43 or a shield is the current sweet spot. Yes, I have carried all three.

Add a +1 or +2 mag extension and you are close to the 10 round G26...
