I sent an email last night asking for status update on my application. Got email today saying I’ve been approved, as well as a voice message about my approval.

Just got notification my permit was approved, no interview or anything. Submitted my livescan 7/6

Thanks. Odd it doesn't contain some sort of "conditional" language, since they can't "approve" until you pass the shooting. I guess they'll just make sure you don't get your mitts on it til then!

I got the approval text on 8/31 and signed up for training on Dec 18. No interview.

CCW approved- August 31st
Scheduled range qual- Dec 18th

I must have been the cut off for the November training because someone else posted here that they're scheduled for November, about 1 min after I called the sheriff. They told me on the phone everything is still conditional as far as the dates of the range Qual due to large amounts of applicants. I hope that just means that they're considering having more available days for range Qual.

How long after range Qual do they usually take to administer the licenses?

With those that applied on 6/23 getting approved now and scheduling their training now for December, it sure seems those of the remaining 700 applicants have no chance to get any training scheduled until well into 2023 or even 2024 with just once a month training offered.

The Sheriff's Office must step up and provide for more timely training offerings otherwise they are denying 2A rights with unreasonable, limited, and single-sourced training opportunities.

The Sheriff's Office must step up and provide for more timely training offerings otherwise they are denying 2A rights with unreasonable, limited, and single-sourced training opportunities.

On the current rate of classes/range Qual offered they can do 360 people a year MAX, which means some people will be waiting more than 16-18 months just for their CCW. And that's not only june/July applicants, it's everyone who applied from june onward. They're going to get a lawsuit unless they solve this issue.
