So do you guys think that we should share with CRPA any unconstitutional emails that we receive?? Figured it might help us make even more of a case.

You will need to do a new live scan. Live scans cannot be shared between agencies/companies.

Have you received any word to proceed with the livescan yet?

Ahern and his cronies are doing their own dig for dirt on you, beyond what would come back on a Livescan.

Does not sound like they paid much attention to the recent letters from CRPA as to following the requirements of Bruen

Figured I'd chip in with my info too.
    • Application submitted 6/24
    • Interviewed 9/28
    • Livescan TBD
    • CCW Training TBD
    • Psych Eval TBD
    • ASCO Training/qual TBD
    • CCW insurance TBD

I'm within the first 125 applicants. Was told there are ~1300 applications they're processing. Told the process could take 6 months - 1 year. Told they were unsure of what impact changing of the sheriff might have in the process.

Nothing new to add for the interview questions, asked about the number of firearms (rifles/shotguns/pistols), storage, people in the household, fence, alarm, and general application questions.

Deputy was surprised I didn't submit photos of safe/storage as per the email blast. I had not received that email request. I showed her that I hadn't received it and after the interview, received an email asking for photos.

I don't get why you have to wait a year after the background to get a 2-year permit. And are they adding more steps after the ruling they took 2 steps away of Good Cause and Good Moral Character.

That's disheartening. It seems apparent that ACSO's strategy is to delay the livescan as long as possible as a way of artificially structuring compliance with PC 26205. I mean, if they don't even let you take the livescan, they can just say that they haven't violated the law because the clock hasn't started with regard to the "whichever is later" language of 26205.

I can't imagine that this tactic would hold up in court post-Bruen... Hopefully the psych eval process isn't jammed up with their need to put their own deputies through it again.

That's what some are saying that applied on 6/28 I think they are going in batches and not in exact order. I applied the night of and some people had interviews before me that applied days later.

What's sad in comparison in the last 2 months I received my New Hampshire in 10 days and my Oregon in 12 days provided training and cleared background and mental health record check because it's clean and I'm an old man.

Are you sure this is right? I applied two days after the ruling and I was told that I won't even have an interview until late 2022. My assumption is that the process will take at least a year.
