Just saw this from Firearms Policy Coalition:

Link to their contact page: https://www.firearmspolicy.org/hotline
Thank you. Filed a complaint with FPC and also wrote an email to CRPA.

Is this another variation of the email they are sending out?

That is the email that they sent to current license holders. It seems very indifferent towards those with security concerns.

Yeah because they are saying we should have no concern for our safety because we aren't provoking anyone as if people don't get attacked unprovoked

Just heard the new application system is (hopefully) going on line in 2 to 3 weeks.

Also the current backlog is 500+ just in Alameda Co

                Not holding my breath ..............

Can we consider our original applications to be valid or do we re-file when the new system is online? So many questions with no answers.

Best I understand, re-file when they post that the new system is up and running.

They say they have a record of who filed and will hold their place in line.

Don't re-file now. Wait until the new system is in place. I filed again and yesterday and this morning got the same email saying my application will be refunded (again).

That's almost as funny as the Gov going on Twitter holding an illegal AR banned complaining that it's being marketed to kids as they can buy it. We can't even get a permit or that AR.

gotcha, this is exactly what I was on the fence about as I had heard about the new system taking place, thanks.

FPC tweets and letter if you have not seen it for us!

SB 918 bill would authorize the Attorney General to revise the standard form for licenses and the design standard if the committees do not revise the form or issue a design standard by September 1, 2022. Reason they are delaying
