There is nothing in law stating that citizens are no longer eligible for a license to carry past a certain age. In theory, if you qualify, you can continue to have your license. Actual facts on the ground may vary by IA. My sense is that this is uncharted territory post-Bruen.Leave a comment:

They aren't specific as to that, however, CRPA's position is that there should be no cap. Still, for now, 2 is certainly better than 1.
Also have a further update - the County has agreed today to provide CRPA updates for March and April on the amount of permits issued (this was our condition for holding off on a lawsuit for now). If we see a good faith effort to process permit applications in the coming months so that the process speeds up, we'll hold off on litigation. Thus far, the new sheriff seems to be moving in the right direction.Leave a comment:

Why not? Stand up for yourself and don't expect someone else to do it for you. That's what I did. Otherwise you're just being a big wuss and bowing to them. If you're in the right and know what the rules are you should stand your ground, and can do all that while still being professional, polite, and respectful.Last edited by RAD-CDPII; 02-18-2023, 9:44 PM.Leave a comment:

I suggest calling them on the telephone, get a human on the line, and ask to come in person to discuss why you have not had any communication about your application.

It’s $50 per weapon. I was told by others in the class who were there for a renewal it’s always been like that. There was one other gentleman besides myself in the class who brought a second firearm and he also paid $50 per weapon and he was a renewal. You can believe what you want but I’m telling you this as someone who’s actually done the class, paid the fees and qualified with two firearms. I brought three firearms and was told I could only qualify with two. I also have an email from the deputy that states that the 90% requirement is no longer in effect and have shared this info previously in this thread. Here's the email and another confirming I could bring a secondary firearm:

This was never the case. They asked in my interview if I owned other firearms, but never had me list them individually. Also refer to the recent letter the CRPA attorney attached previously in this thread. It states in that letter that they will no longer be asking these types of questions.Last edited by Vinnie Boombatz; 02-18-2023, 10:51 AM.Leave a comment:

A few months ago, I was under the impression that all the firearms you own need to be listed somewhere, even shotguns, long guns etc.
Is this still the case?Leave a comment:
