Yeah I agree that it is uncharted territory, the focus has been to be even able to get a permit in the first place.

Also have a further update - the County has agreed today to provide CRPA updates for March and April on the amount of permits issued (this was our condition for holding off on a lawsuit for now). If we see a good faith effort to process permit applications in the coming months so that the process speeds up, we'll hold off on litigation. Thus far, the new sheriff seems to be moving in the right direction.
Thanks to you, your staff, and attorneys for all of your efforts! We need to get them in line soon!

I can stand my ground and be professional, but it’s always better to come prepared with facts and docs and save the prolonged discussion. I had not received any updates from Judea on the changes and she knew I was looking for two weapons, and Monday is a holiday. I’ve been trying not to push her as I know she is swamped. Thanks again for the info, looking forward to a turkey shoot on Tuesday.

Not even sure if this will even be possible or accomplish anything to be honest, they may just give me the typical runaround and tell me, "we'll be reaching out to you dually, please don't come in as we cannot speed up the process for just you as we have an overload of applications"

You can believe what you want but I’m telling you this as someone who’s actually done the class, paid the fees and qualified with two firearms. I brought three firearms and was told I could only qualify with two. I also have an email from the deputy that states that the 90% requirement is no longer in effect and have shared this info previously in this thread. Here's the email and another confirming I could bring a secondary firearm:

Thanks, just didn’t want to get there and have a big discussion.,

This was never the case. They asked in my interview if I owned other firearms, but never had me list them individually. Also refer to the recent letter the CRPA attorney attached previously in this thread. It states in that letter that they will no longer be asking these types of questions.
