I guess at the time my email sent. Someone just dropped his/her appointment.
I got the reply email only 5mins later.

Interestingly they do have you shoot from the hip so to speak though it's not part of the official requirement so you can't fail that part. Basically your natural aim at a very close target.
When I took my initial class 2+ years ago, they had us hip shoot. When I did my renewal last December, they did not. Not sure if they've stopped it or it's just hit and miss.

Thanks for the response and inspiration! I just sent them an email inquiring if they have any earlier appointment dates available. I think I actually picked up your old date, as the date I picked up due to a moved/cancelled appt is 11/15/21.

    Once again, best of luck!

I applied 5/18/21 and initially was scheduled for March 2022 and have managed to push it to Mid-November. Were you watching permitium like crazy or contact for earlier appt?

SDSO staffs are so nice. I think they add more staffs (around 12) to process CCWs faster. I was there around 11:30am, the checkin list has 1.5 pages of names(20?).
a week before appointment day, BI email me they need more docs.

You got taken care of. I should have reached out to Miranda. My pick up date is August 20th. Another 3 weeks. I am bummed , but what can you do. That will mean by the time I have my permit in hand, this whole process would have taken 13 months. Thank god it is almost over.
