This "shooting card" thing is a real kick in the teeth. Just being a member of one of the five clubs was supposed to give you a discount on shooting fees and other things. I've been a member of Diablo for more than 25 years and even paid for membership in the Covid years when I didn't go to the range 'til Nov 2021. For as little as I use the public range it's not worth it. I'll go to another range or shoot as Public as opposed to Club member. The fee structure Muay Thai JJ came up with I could happily live with but a $200 USI shooting tax just doesn't cut it. There needs to be some major changes somewhere but running off the current members with excessive fees isn't the way to do it.Comment

Nice info thanks for posting it.
Just my $0.02, all the paid execs need to forgo their salary and move to volunteer RSO model (rso shifts in exchange for range access when range is closed). That will save $260k expenses right there.
Together with increasing fees to everyone slightly, that should get usi on right track without need for $200 card.
Also, too bad the action range has that lame rule where you need to shoot under a little roof and have to reload with your gun pointed at the berm. If they could run a monthly uspsa or idpa match on the fourth weekend of the month it would be pretty cool so the norcal area will have Richmond matches first and third weekend, yolo second weekend , usi fourth weekendComment

How does the range operate 4 years with the Net Gain (Loss) of 190k, 193k, 198k, and 197k and then when the RP reopens the Net Gain (Loss) balloons up to 421k in one year. WTF happened? The Staff Expenses were 358k, 212k, 245k and 228k and when RP reopened it went to 280k so there was not like a giant increase in Staff Wages....so WTF happened?Comment

Here is the thing - why are they operating at a huge loss. No matter what they are running. I’m not going to give more money to people who are already messing up. Just like the gov tax more.
So come up with a plan show how it’s going to be fixed and then maybe I’ll pay more than my fair share. The greater good for USI and the clubs to get it together.
If not. “If he dies , he dies”Comment

Using the price of annual discount cards only, it appears to me that USI will have to sell 1500 to 2000 annual discount cards or more to come close to a monthly push against overhead.
I doubt highly that those are attainable discount card sale numbers. It seems clear to me that overhead must be cut. When is USI going to announce the overhead cuts...? HaHaHa...HeHeHeComment
