New from Ripon

Welcome! Im in Modesto but grew up and have spent most of my life in Ripon. As kids we used to shoot .22's in my buddies dads orchards off North Ripon and Austin. If you are outside city limits RPD won't roll up, cant say about the Sheriff. Pretty sure if it is your property out of town and all other rules are followed you should be ok, but I am just a guy on the internet.

And what a resource! I found the Manteca Sportsmen club which is nearby for long-arm and clays. I'll have to make a visit soon.

I'm sure many of you know about it, but I'd like to mention the Madison Society, whose goal it is to challenge laws restricting the 2nd amendment.

Things are changing everywhere. I live in an unincorporated county. legal to shoot.

You get the damned bleeding hearts that move up here from the cities and whine and complain..."oh I heard shooting"...attracts unwanted attention.

There's a famous Vid (youtube) about the San Luis Obispo (SLO) Sheriffs that respond to a "shots fired" call, turns into a gigantic headache for the citizen that was target shooting. Just sayin.
