Hello, I am a new member from Ripon.
Love the ranges at Barnwood, CSS and Oakdale and am looking for more to try.
Also, I've got a small piece (few acres) of property just outside of town limits in SJ County. I would like to target shoot (22 or 9mm) on my property. I've been looking for limits/restrictions but am unable to zero in on whether I will have Ripon PD or the SJ Sheriff roll up because some townspeople hear somewhat distant gunshots.
There are so many laws and rules and regulations to go through and I am not a lawyer. Is there something human readable to verify whether what I'm asking is legal/possible?
Also, it is my understanding that the current SJ Sheriff is will-not-issue and that his contender for 2014 is a shall-issue Sheriff. Is this correct?
