Hello all - newbie here

Hi all. Newbie here. I thought I would come here and see what other 2nd amendment enthusiasts think about all the anti-second amendment laws the Democrats are ramming through Sacramento these days. If the assembly votes anything like the Senate, it looks like they will all pass. My guess is any legal challenges will fail since the courts are increasingly ceasing to be courts of law in favor instead of being courts of politics, especially here in California. So what do most people here say? Is it time to disarm, or is it time to move out of California to a state that still recognizes the 2nd amendment? Is there any real hope left for law abiding gun owners in California, or is it the ugly reality that legal gun ownership is on it's way out?

Looks like you have been here awhile. What say you on the goings on in our state capital? A friend sent me a wake up call email showing all of these extreme bills being passed and my jaw dropped. Looks kind of hopeless for our side to me based on the political makeup of the capital these days. I was kind of surprised because I thought there were a lot of Democrats who are gun enthusiasts, yet, based on the lopsided votes of the Senate, it would appear that either I was wrong or their elected reps don't care much about that element of their constituency. It looks crystal clear that the Democrats in Sacramento are going hard at their true objective of stripping us of our second amendment rights under the thinly veiled guise of "public safety" as their stated objective.
