Thank you all for the warm welcome I appreciate it. I have been lurking for the last month or so and finally decided it was time. I have noticed a great comraderie on this board and I see that there are many helpful people here and it seems like a great community.
GMG, All of the research I have done and the reviews from owners of M&P40 leads me to believe it is a good choice also. The only .40 I have shot though is my brothers Sig, so I don't have any direct knowledge of the M&P, But I do have an appreciation for the .40 cartridge.
The only problem I am having now is thanks to all the panic buying ( which I understand ) I can't seem to find any M&P's in stock. So alas the search continues haha

Welcome from Modesto! If you have never shot one I suggest renting or borrowing first. I cant say a single bad thing about the M&P, but after hearing all the hubub I had to try one for myself and did not care for the trigger. I hear the aftermarket cleans them up though.Comment
