I'm new here...so, Hello!
My dad use to take me shooting his 22's when I was a young pre-teen/teen. He bought me a Ruger 10/22 when I was in college, and helped me buy my first hand gun when I got married (20y/o).
Well that was all thirty something years ago, I've hardly shot since then. That is until a month ago. Went to the trap/skeet range with my kids and loved it. Thinking about getting a shot gun for that, and was talking to my dad a few weeks ago, and he wants to give me his guns. Dad wants to get a infra-familier transfer for the pistols he has to give me. However, every gun shop I've talked to says they are holding their HSC tests for people that want to buy new guns from them, "because they have limited tests". Hoping you have suggestions. I'm in Riverside area.
