        Test using add from desktop. Mac OS, Apple Photos. The original is 2.5mb, but when I upload it, it is mysteriously cut to 19.7KB, which is too small. This is from my desktop. I don't want to use web based photo hosting services.

        What can I do within the CalGuns system to share photos of a decent size from my desktop?

            That's a forum software limit.

            It does not apply to hosting service links; typically folks want to reduce the size of pictures, to prevent full-page embeds in posts.

                Thanks, but just to understand: what does not apply? What is meant by "hosting service links"?

                    That's the only way to post bigger pictures, because the forum software does not impose its limits on pictures hosted elsewhere.
