    New Guy from SoCal

    New to the forums and also to shooting. Went to a shooting range for the first time today and now looking to purchase my first hand gun. A co-worker has recommended a Ruger SP101, but I am also researching other handguns.

                                          Welcome to the site. Like I tell everyone, go to the range and rent a bunch to find what you like. Might have to go to several ranges, but it's worth it.
