I hope to educate myself more on this forum re: CA laws with what we can own and not. I own a Sig P228 9mm. A small arm for now. I like it for what it is. It's nothing extravagent compared to other people's collections.

I'd like to learn more about rifles and maybe pick up a few more pistols as collectibles. Once I've learned enough about arms I'll teach my wife.

Hi Steven, welcome to Calguns. Don't overlook buying a .22 rifle, they are great to use to introduce new people (your wife) to shooting. No recoil, not as much noise and very inexpensive to buy and feed.
