    Howdy & Thanks

First a big Thank You to all those that started Calguns and keep it going. I think this site is a must for any firearms owner in this state that wants to stay on the right side of the law. Also a vast knowledge base for most things that go bang.
Have recently moved to Merced area. Have owned and used guns most of my 63 years.
    This forum is excellent. Thanks

Welcome aboard, and please make sure to check out:

The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

Welcome aboard; nice collection you've got going there.
CalGuns Network (CGN) is different from CalGuns Foundation (CGF). Both need our support. I have gold name because I support CGN; plus, I send $10 every two weeks to CGF automatically via online BillPay as described here.

Support CGF by shopping at Amazon!

Thanks for the welcomes and kind words.
B Strong, I'm on it. It takes bucks to fight the battle.
As for the collection. They all do the job they were intended for.
The old Rem. 510 may be the most valuable though. Not in a money way. For it certainly shows the years, but it was the first rifle I ever shot and more importantly, it has been the first rifle that many a youth through the years shot. I have a new set of nephews coming up, so she will be back in service soon.
Not that my old eyes can do it any more, but I believe she'll still hit a quarter at 40 paces, to win the beer.
Thanks again for the welcomes. It feels real homey around here.
            Best to all. CM
