    Newby Question

    I see the phrase "bumped" or "bump" on several ads....what does it mean?

      Welcome to Calguns Dan. A new post will bump that thread back to the top of the list. If you made a thread this morning, and then ten other threads were either created or received comments, yours would now be the 11th one down. Adding a comment to your thread would pop it back up to the top again.

      I think Marketplace ads can only be bumped once every 24 hours but the rules are posted at the top of the forum.

      You may also see TTT (take to top) or other phrases since any new post will bump that thread to the top.

          Welcome aboard Dan! Another common one is 'btt' (back-to-top).
