New to calguns and gun ownership

    Hello everyone,

I'm starting here as I do in every other forum I use to introduce myself.
I am currently waiting for the arrival of my first firearm.
After looking at purchasing a Glock 19, I found a great deal on
a Beretta 92fs, so that's what I went with. I fired both at the firing
range and was quite pleased with both which made it a hard decision.
However, the Beretta just happened to fall into my lap so to speak.

Anyways, I was lurking in the forums for a little bit before I purchased
my firearm and this forum seems very informative. I'll be lurking around
some more for interesting and informative articles.

    Stay safe,

    -Paul

The Beretta is not a bad choice.. I would have gone with the G19 but to each their own.

    Welcome to the Forum!

Haha. Yeah I'll probably end up picking up the Glock down the line.
I figured I can always trade the Beretta if I'm not pleased with it.

I shot a friends HK USP before. It was a nice gun but I think they're overpriced. IMO.
but if you're getting a deal on it, it's definitely a nice addition.
