Hello all, registered in April of 2005, but been a lurker since then, actually tried to post over the years, but every attempt said I wasn't authorized, so I figured nows the time.
Anyways, born and raised in San Diego, and thought its about time to contribute. Started my first AK build back in 2002-2003, collected a few matching kits but stored them away and just recently took them out and started at it again, Lots changed, lots of people to learn from, lots of jigs and tools to collect now that just were not around back then. Never thought that a need to buy clips in 1996 and 1997 when I came of age, but glad that I did, having those drums and banana's still in my possession now really is nice, really miss those old crossroads shows that I picked um up at, along with the 5 gallon plastic buckets full of loose ammo. At todays prices I dont know that I could even afford to fill those 100 rounders and empty them out, I think the 10 rounds at a time is much more affordable, with the forced pause and reload time a button causes...
Glad to meet you all, I've probably been reading your posts over the years and just really never taken the time to comment, again, figured it was time to say hello.
So Hello
