Lost 2A rights for 5 years

Hi All, I lost my rights to own any weapon for the next 5 years. The police also came into my home and convinced my wife to give them my weapons and that I would get them back once the issue was resolved. The issue was resolved the following day. I was released and thought my weapons would be returned. My rights were taken and now they want me to sell or dispose of my weapons. I love my Kimbers, and all my rifles and shotguns, and the time spent at the gun club. I believe California has gone a bit much on restrictions and my plans are to move to a more friendly gun state (Georgia) in the next year. Does anyone have any ideas how I can keep my weapons until I leave next year?

On it's face what happened to is sad. Unfortunately, you'll have to let us know what took place. With out that information, it will be hard if not impossible to speculate on why you've lost your Rights.

I'll give you $100. bucks for all your guns. Deal?

I would say contact an attorney who is experienced in gun law cases if it isn't already too late.

There's nothing about the police "came to my home" or that "issue was resolved" that would produce a five year firearms disability.

Do you leave out some detail (like the source of the disability) from your post?
