My only advice is to try to rent a few guns before purchasing. I'm looking to get another 9mm and had a number of pistols that I wanted to try. Turns out that I'm not a fan of 2 very popular pistols (FNS9 and VP9). I would have hated to spend $700+ on a gun to end up hating it.

I'll say Welcome too, and second the 'renting before buying' idea.

I was all set to get Pistol X years ago, and an old guy who could have sold it to me suggested Pistol Y - never thought to try it, and liked it a whole lot more.

Wut up dude...

Settle on the gen 3, which can be had for $475 or less easily. Get a lone wolf extended barrel out to 5 inches. Get an advantage arms .22lr conversion kit. And a rail light. All for the same price as your Gen 4 premium ..well could be anyway up the way they price em on this site bud. But you will have more fun I promise!!!
