Funny character substitutions - database issue, not you

Every time I type a " it turns into a ?

The problem is 'collations' in that database, something like the old servers used a slightly different character set from the new servers.

Since the next step is to move from vBulletin 3 to vB5, and Kestryll has hired/will hire vbulletin to do that work, not something that will be fixed before that step.

Is that still happening? Kes had a notice on the top of section saying it had been ordered and was coming. Now the notice is gone and we're still on vB3.
