I'm logged in, but whenever I try and create a "New Thread", it asks me to log in again. I can contribute to a thread that already exists, but can't start my own.

Hello, I am having issues logging in. It just keeps on looping me to the login page.

That's happening to me, too, in Safari from my ipad.

Happens on mini PC for me - but not mobile devices

Some really weird stuff going on.

I posted at 0402 and the posting showed, then I left and came right back here and my 0402 post was gone, when I made the 0404 posting the 0402 post came back.

It shows me logged in but if I click the Calguns.Net banner under the advertising, it takes me back to unlogged in.

Also, while logged in, there is no OT forum showing in the main forums page.

Yep same here, I noticed that if you hit refresh or back it seems to fix the issue temporarily but still nonetheless refresh seems to "fix" many of the issues going on here including initial login.

After doing 1 above, you can also refresh your screen and it will show you as logged in then (at least it does for me). It seems after logging in, the system takes you back to the previous screen instead of loading a new screen that shows the login.

Yeah was going to suggest that, I just did it myself earlier tonight and it worked.

Log in, after loaded hit refresh and it will show your name logged in

I get the pop up screen that says thank you for logging in swruger, and then it goes to the homepage asking me to login

Register Issues

Hello,

I recommended to a friend of mine that he should sign up here and join CALGUNS. When he attempts to register, the captcha on the right hand side does not produce the image he needs to enter the six digits to gain successful registration. I had no issues when I signed up and am wondering how he can fix this, or what steps he should take in order to gain successful registration. Any advice helps. Thank you.

Every time I use a period or comma it inserts a ??also the ? Just shows up all over the text?

This is an example, there was no question marks used in my post text.

Special characters such as ena (n with a tilde) are not always displayed properly either: ?
My 30+ years of IT experience tells me this is a Unicode or UTF-8 mapping problem of some sort. PM me if you want a deeper explanation.
