I'm nobody on this forum, but in defense of bcoc2002, it is VERY frustrating to ask a question from someone in charge here and get nothing but crickets.

I wanted to sell a flare gun that has the insert to fire 45LC/410 so I sent a message to a moderator to see if it was permissible to sell on CG and if so, which category in the Marketplace would he recommend the ad be placed... After weeks, no reply at all. Nothing! Finally gave up and deleted my message. You can be sure that I will not waste my time with any future questions.

I'm not calling for a ban on non-responsive moderators, but I think bcoc2002 is just asking (?) for some common courtesy.

Nothing to check sir. start from the top, legitimate suggestion posted in the proper place. If I have to ask 10 mods the same question to a problem I was having with a posting prob, and not getting one response, then maybe this is the perfect time to shed some light. You want to help manage a site, but dont want to take the time to resolve a problem, then my original suggestion fits the bill.

I would like to suggest that all moderators who dont or wont reply back to questions and or problems sent their way, have their moderatorship revoked. Whats going on? Do they think that banning members is their only responsibility?

Great, you work for free. I guess they must have wanted to take on the task when they asked for it. Free or not, that still doesnt resolve the problem. My problem that I brought forth to the mods had nothing to do with anyone else. I was attempting to make a post and I ran a ground and needed assistance, nothing more, nothing less, but when you have Garv providing nothing more than his sarcasm to help resolve the situation, its not going away.

PM Kes, ha, thats a joke, considering out of the 10 PMs (no appostrophy) I sent, 2 went to him. This had nothing to do with venting. If you dont like the pay, dont sign up for the job. Have some common courtesy and return the message, whether or not you have the info to help.

WOW, I love it when people want to tell other people how to run their lives/websites etc.

OP if your still here I do have a suggestion.

If you have a question and us members. That would have been the courteous thing to do.

One of us probably ran into a similar problem and has a solution.

The MOD's job is NOT answering questions, there more about keeping the site legal and making sure we play nice.

Not necessary now, Audrey. At the time, I wanted to sell the flare gun to fund another firearm purchase. Got my Ruger GP100 7-shot and keeping the flare gun.
