Get his mailing address? Then send him some money and when he fails to deliver go to the post office and complain that he ripped you off through the mail. Then if it is across state lines, You might be able to get FBI involved, isn't that like mail fraud or something? I forgot. I am only going through playing by the rules with this reply.

I guess talking about him is the best way to deal with him. Yall seem rather level headed so I expect this should not be too much of an issue here.

In the meantime, just by posting osburn88890@gmail.com you are giving a few spam bots and cherry pickers some snacks. > we used to do this all the time in usenet. Just post a list of e-mail addresses of folks you do not like and let the spam bots snack on them...

I just got a follow up email from him.
He is responding to my ad: WTB SD9VE
He states he is in crescent city and sent pics of his SD9 w/o a price.
                    He may be legit?!

Do a Google search for osburn88890@gmail.com , he has "for sale" posts internationally.
He finally have me a price, "200usd"... Who the hell says "usd" if they're in the USA?

It probably used to work that way, but now with all branches of the govt (Fed, State & local) deciding which laws they want to enforce and which ones they want to ignore, the answer would be "it's not worth our time to pursue this."
