I know this just makes sense to have a GROUP BUY section on the forum. I'm sure there are copious amounts of ideas for us to explore in a setting. I hope to see something develop in this area and I'm sure it will be fun as well.

Nobody will be ripped off if an already existing buy is set up through an already existing company who is willing to handle the money. That alone will eliminate having to rely on anyone from the forum.Comment

I think we need to ditch the group buy in favor of the group pre order.
I'm kicking around the idea of starting my own business (for instance). I think instead of asking people to pay up front; if they'd just pledge to buy once I have the product (provided it was within X amount of time)... that alone would help me... sure; a few people would flake but with a good response it wouldn't matter... that would just kick the next guy up on the list.... and people would get their in stock item shipped within a couple days of paying (like how a normal order is done) with the ability to cancel or even dispute the charge if there was a problem (like normal). But I'd still have customers lined up to sell a bunch of product... before making my equipment investment...Last edited by sl0re10; 02-10-2015, 12:00 PM.Comment
