VB6 is OK, could be a shade or 2 darker. Also, didn't really need 'the text is larger.' Some of the title text is now too large in a fine Arial font. Would prefer all text the same size instead.

All of the styles have so much wasted space. Honestly the vb6 layout is sub-optimal from a user experience (it's not just calguns). Even the default vb5 style has issues even though I find it the best of the options. Subscribe button is taking a lot of space when it can be integrated in another row/bar. Thread listing on forum page vertical margins (topic-list-v-padding) are 5-6px too large thus spacing the threads too far apart, user panel on each post is too tall due to fixed avatar height and extra space under the join date/post count but that is part of the minimum height style.

Now can we see about making the reply text box bigger, or getting some controls to make it bigger? We used to have little arrows to grow the box on the old version - it was rarely needed but there when you needed (and worked on all devices). This three line reply box is just too cramped.

Can the ads from the CGN sponsors be moved to the "top" to the right side of CALGUNS.NET, instead of below the Forums Blogs Articles Groups menu bar? Seems to take up a large part of screen space. Funny thing is I don't see that on the screenshot from other users above. :hmmm:

To add to my prior comment above, the next prioritized goal would be to minimize the amount of wasted space within posts. Someone posts once sentence and it's got enough room for a small novella underneath it. It seems that if you were able to remove the 'Facebook' and 'Tweet' buttons in the Avatar field, and whatever other doo-dads are in there, it would shrink the entirety of the vertical breadth of the post itself.
