    I CAN'T STAY LOGGED IN

    1. Today I've had to log in five different times.
    2. After going back and forth between handguns and long guns a couple of times I come back a couple hours later and guess what I've got to log in again.
    3. Constantly logging in several times a day tells me there's something wrong on the site.
    4. I need help. Thank you. Captain Dan 1968

    The site does that, I am not sure why but it does, it happens to me all the time.

      You're logged in under https and clicking links to the unsecure version http (sans "s").

      Try these links:

      vs these links

      Try to identify the links that route to the non-https-secure version and avoid those.

        In certain spots on the website when you click various items on the top menu it takes you to the non-secure version of the site where it appears you're logged out. I've experienced it a bunch too. It just so happens I have the technical knowhow to fix this issue so if anyone sees this post who would like me to fix it I'm more than happy to do so.

        As an example of this you can duplicate the issue by going to the member page https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/member.php and click home in the upper left and you'll be taken to the insure vision of the site and be "logged out"

        Code:
        <!-- top nav buttons bar -->

        <div align="center">
            <table class="tborder" cellpadding="6" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="100%" align="center" style="border-bottom-width:0px">
            <tr align="center">
                <td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/index.php">Home</a></td>

          It's definitely a "1st-world-problem", but if you've got an easy fix, I'm listening! Thanks!

            Go up to the address in your browser and remove everything after https://www.calguns.net/(Remove everything after here hit return)

            Works for me when it does that. Logs me back in.

              Avoid using the HOME button. Use calguns.net file explorer function.
