They will hold it for you and allow you to DROS it down the road. At one time I had a DROS backlog 14 guns deep @ the Norwalk store due to the whole 1 in 30 deal.

BTW - thanks to LA city, the 1 in 30 includes both dealer and private party hand gun sales, not just dealer sales required by CA state law. Since Reseda store is within LA city's jurisdiction, they make you sign a form stating you have not purchased "any" hand gun within 30 days as part of the DROS process or the CA DOJ will deny your DROS.

I'm soo tempted to do the same, but I have a .40 MP w/ a .357 sig conversion barrel, so I'm trying not to do some compulsive purchasing.
