    Reseda store

Hey there turners...just curious as to why in your ads a lot of times you see a gun and then right next to it will say "not available in reseda"? What makes it available everywhere else except your reseda store?

The Reseda store is within Los Angeles city limits and L.A. has it's own law regarding minimum size of handgun that can be sold, the 'saturday night special' law.

Pasadena is in Los Angeles COUNTY but not in L.A. City and is not subject the the City's law

It's stupid and does nothing but the City of L.A. doesn't care, it's 'gun control so it must be good....

In addition to restrictions on the sales of ammo mentioned elsewhere, L.A. City also has restrictions on the sales of handguns:

Ch. V, Art. 5, Sec. 55.16 prohibits the sale of "ultracompact handguns" defined as handguns that are shorter than 4.5" tall OR 6.75" long. This means that any handgun sold in the City, must be taller and longer than both dimensions. Any firearm that is noted in an ad as "Not available in Reseda" is smaller in one or both of those dimensions.

Sec. 55.18 and 55.19, respectively prohibit the sale of any firearm or ammunition, calibers .50 and larger. Where as the state restricts the sale of .50BMG rifles, the City prohibits the sale of any firearm, including handguns, chambered in any caliber, .50 and larger, and the sale of any ammunition sized .50 caliber and larger.
