    PPT

Are ppt transactions put on the back burner even though I pulled a number and waited to be helped patiently? I was completely ignored while the other people that came after me were helped and when those people said I was there first...your friendly gun rep said...oh that's just a ppt.

This can easily just be another gun store for me as there are many other LGS I can take my business to.

The next number is the next guy to be helped, period.
If you experienced something different it is contrary to Turner's policy. Let them know what store and what day/time this happened so they can look into it.

Perhaps those salesman didn't know how to do a PPT. Believe it or not, it seems like a lot of em are tentative to attempt it.

        PPT

FYI no employee, manager or owner of a gun store wants to do a PPT cause they make a maximum of $10 for 20-30 minutes of work.

So "threatening" a store by not using them for a PPT does no good.

They DO NOT WANT TO DO YOUR PPT.

        Just saying.

I do not believe a guy making minimum wage and working part time even considers how much money the store makes on a PPT. Do you?

Thx for your lesson today. Why do PPTs at all then if there's no money? If you owned a business and your repeat customer comes back and you realize it the back of your head you are not going to make any money...you can just ignore them? Lol...recipe for a going out of business sign.

Don't judge...I have given turners plenty of money from purchasing safes, guns, and ammo.

Lastly, it's my decision where I take my business. You keep that mindset and you will eventually fold. Cheers mate.

I never minded doing a PPT and my managers would have kicked some butt if anyone said they didn't want to do one.
I got to meet interesting people and frequently got to handle an unusual and interesting firearm. Yes, the paperwork takes a little longer and is more involved but I was still being payed my regular wage so it's all good.

You deserve a raise and an employee of the month reward!

I believe they are obligated by CA law to service firearm PPT for a set dollar amount as dictated by law. It is part of their obligation to do business as a FFL.
